Roy’s first offering is the iconic panettone, the most famous Italian Christmas dessert. Mentored by the world’s panettone master, Iginio Massari, Roy has spent over a decade obsessing and perfecting what he calls “the Mt. Everest of the baking world."
What begins with simple mother yeast or “lievito madre” (flour, water and the yeast which is present in the air) is cared for and nurtured with the utmost precision and dedication and then, using the highest quality standards, is transformed into one of the most extraordinary products in all the pastry and baking worlds.

I have never had a Panettone I liked. Then for Christmas my husband & I received an Urbani White Truffle Pannetone as a gift. This is like a party for your palate. All the ingredients gently come through and the flavors are wonderful. So I came to the Urbani Truffle website & bought 3! Two as gifts & 1 because I just couldn't get it out of my mind & had to have another one. Also as a gift, the box it comes in is very cool. Definetly impressive.
We decided to do something decadent and amazing for the holidays, hence this panettone. The flavor combination sounded bananas but we saw the reviews and decided to try it and it was absolutely the best thing we’d tasted in ages. Amazing as a post holiday dinner and delightful to have leftovers with coffee for breakfast. 10/10
We bought our second Truffle panettone as it was truly sumptuous ! And got a resounding thumbs up from my italian in-laws ! Not recommended to people that like the traditional panettone but for those who want to experience something new and delicious
I’m a huge fan of From Roy, and had to try this flavor out. You get the truffle aroma before you open the bag.
There is no overpowering truffle flavors, and it’s a really solid flavor - dare I say my favorite From Roy one ever.
However, it definitely is very pricey ($20-40 less would’ve been more appropriate/approachable). At the current price I’d expect a more premium packaging - like a metal one which some cheaper panettone do come in.
